Steep rocky shorelines are present in some sections of the lower half of the lake. Many tree stumps were left standing in the upper end of the lake during construction. Prior to impoundment, the present lake bottom was mainly agricultural fields. Rocky Fork Lake has an average depth of about 15 feet, with a maximum depth of about 40 feet. ![]()
